  The following interview was in the November 2010 issue of Healthy Times, and was between Hope Bondurant, and Dr. SeBastian

HT contacted Dr. Scott SeBastian after hearing that his office installed an Insight Scan. Hope Bondurant, an editor with Healthy Times, has been evaluated with this device, and she wanted to learn more about this latest version.

HT: Can you explain what the Insight Scan is for our readers?

The Insight Scan is a way to measure your master controller, the brain and spinal Cord, in it’s effectiveness in keeping you healthy. It also measures the heart’s ability to handle stress. As human beings, the vast majority of us are born to be well, yet we get sick. Why? Is there a way to predict our “wellness”? Is there a way to tell if our nervous system is communicating effectively with our body? The answer is yes!

HT: Why was the Insight Scan developed?

NASA wanted a way to monitor astronauts in space. A doctor can now use those same technologies to heal people and keep them well. It can also factor how you are ageing: Are you youthful, or are your health issues adding years?

HT: Who would benefit?

What a great question! Let’s say you are an adult with a chronic condition that just will not go away. You have seen several health providers, possibly even a few chiropractors. The scan unit will locate areas of spinal nerve irritation/blockage going to muscles, ligaments, Tissues and organs. In other words, it will uncover the basic cause of the issue so that you can finally heal.

The heart portion of the scan will let you know how well your heart is adapting to stress. 50% of all first time heart attacks result in death. Wouldn’t it be nice to know how happy your heart is? We give you a health number on this to compare with an ideal healthy heart. This is called “Heart Rate Variability” or HRV.

Children benefit as well. Many allergies, ADHD, digestive disturbances are due to spinal nerve irritation. The scan picks this up. Is your child’s second cervical nerve causing sinus headaches? The scan prints out an easily understood picture of what is going on.

HT: How often should it be done?

In the beginning of care to establish a baseline. On every re exam to monitor progress. For people that have no issues, and no stress, at least yearly.

HT: Are there other technologies like it?

The Insight scan is actually 3 different scans that already exist in a high end neurologist’s office. I have invested considerable dollars in bringing this to my patients because it is Essential for anyone who realizes how important their health, their significant other’s health, and their children’s health is. People want more than reassurance from their doctor nowadays. They want to know if they are truly well, and they want a roadmap to Achieve and maintain their own excellent health.
